Call for Applicants – 2019 Canada Winter Games Team Manager (Short Track)

Speed Skate PEI is now accepting applications for the Team Manager position for PEI’s short-track speed skating team which will compete at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, Alberta.

Open only to Males as per Canada Games Regulation

The Team Manager will work in cooperation with the Team Coach to ensure the successful management and administration of the team beginning with pre-games training and competition leading up to the Canada Winter Games until approximately one month after the Games. The Team Coach is responsible for identifying training teams, performance program development and implementation (including off ice training, on ice training and competitions) and final team selection. The Manager’s role is to handle the administrative aspects of the program’s execution. For further details, click here.

Applications will be accepted until March 31, 2017. Applicants should submit a brief letter to info@speedskatepei.ca, which outlines their qualifications and interest in this position. Team Manager selection will be made by an independent committee appointed by Speed Skate PEI. Applicants may be contacted for interviews by the committee.
