Skate sharpening clinics will be held this evening, October 27, from 5:25 to 6:15 and tomorrow, October 28, from 6:25 to 7:10 at the Eastlink Centre. These sessions will be held during the respective Learn To Speed Skate and Intermediate group practice times in the dressing rooms. All parents of long-blade skaters as well as our competitive skaters themselves (ages 13+) are encouraged to learn how to sharpen their speed skates. Experienced sharpeners are welcome to attend for a refresher and to exchange tips. The clinic is mandatory for anyone who wishes to borrow club sharpening equipment or to sharpen blades rented from the club. If you have a jig or skates available, please bring them along.
